The Music Man

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Cresskill Middle-High School Principal Players will be bringing “The Music Man” to the Cresskill Middle-High School auditorium stage on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 7:30pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 7:30pm, and Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00pm.   Nearly 100 students have come together to share their talents to put together this year’s production.

“The Music Man” follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

This award-winning, critically acclaimed Broadway classic is an all-American institution, thanks to its quirky characters, charmingly predictable dramatic situations and one-of-a-kind, nostalgic score of rousing marches, barbershop quartets and sentimental ballads, which have become popular standards.

Advance ticket prices for “The Music Man” are $15.00 for adults and $12.00 for students and senior citizens. At the door, ticket prices do go up $2.00 each, making tickets $17.00 for adults and $14.00 for students and senior citizens.  All tickets are general seating on a first come-first served basis.
