Congratulations to Senior Charlie Jia for earning the distinctive Bergen County School Boards Association (BCSBA) “Unsung Hero” Award, presented at last week’s county-wide awards ceremony. Charlie was also honored at the recent Cresskill Board of Education meeting. The Unsung Heroes program recognizes students from each high school in Bergen County who make outstanding contributions to their school and communities, modeling good citizenship, a spirit of quiet strength, and a “profile in purpose” that inspires others. Charlie is well-known around school for his passion as a photographer, and he can be seen at many school functions and athletic events. His work is a positive contribution to our school newspaper The Communique, the school yearbook Images, and our athletic program and school website. Congratulations to Charlie for this well-deserved honor!
