As part of our After School Enrichment Program, students are embarking on an exciting adventure in student journalism! Through Merritt Morning News and the guidance of Ms. Parsons, our third through fifth graders will create short, dynamic video segments that showcase school events, share announcements, and feature special stories from around our Merritt community. Click below for their first ever Morning News video that features our newly added Makerspace!

We will be sending a test message tomorrow, October 1. Please ensure that all contacts are updated in Genesis this evening and the district app is installed in order to receive emergency notifications. This test will help ensure our messaging services are configured properly and can be effectively used for emergency communication.

Due to safety concerns and recent damage caused by student use of e-bikes, we will no longer permit e-bikes and electric scooters on or around our athletic fields or in crowded areas. Please note that the police have been asked to help enforce this on our school property. Safety of our staff and students continues to be our focus. Thank you!
